Call of Duty: What is going on with Infinite Warfare?

The new Call of Duty trailer is out.  So far, it has over 2 million dislikes!  The trailer is hitting records.  The reasoning behind this is because people of people not liking  exo-suits(they make you jump higher).  I also disliked it because I want the franchise to go back to it's roots and make a World War II game. Call of Duty hasn't been listening to their buyer's complaints, so they are being mocked by other game companies like how EA said "is this a 2010 trailer?" One reason why people will still pay for this Call of Duty is to get the re-mastered edition of Call of Duty 4.  The re-mastered edition isn't even the full game.  It has half the multiplayer maps and has updated graphics.
If you want a fun World War game in a couple months, hope is not lost.  The new Battlefield game has been announced and it will exceed your expectations.  Many fans are switching to Battlefield and aren't coming back to Call of Duty.  Personally, I don't disagree with them.  At the end of the day, they are both unique game franchises with different game styles, but Infinity Ward (Call of Duty Infinite Warfare company) really needs to complete their fans' requests.

The world of video game mods

With video games on the PC, you can download "mods" to make your gaming experience better. They can do things like changing textures, sound, giving cheats, adding new areas/levels, adding new enemies, new quest, new gear, and more and are made by other people. Mods used to only be on websites where you would have to install them and put in the games files. Although some games still have you do this, Steam (A marketplace for PC games) has a workshop section where you can easily download mods for games. The Xbox One and PS4 versions of Fallout 4 will be able to download mods later in May 2016. The world of mods is truly a great place.

Call of Duty: What is happening?

The popular video game francize , Call of Duty, is a first person shooter full of action and excitement. Three different companies making COD (Call of Duty) games.  The newest COD, Black Ops 3, has supply drops that give you three things, a weapon cameo, new gear, a calling card, or a rare weapon.  You can open supply drops by playing the game or paying for supply drops using COD points.  Lately, there has been a black market "Blackout" where people aren't paying real money for these supply drops.  Treyarch has responded to this by adding black market contracts.  Basically, if you win 75 games, you get a free weapon and 10x rare supply drops.  Also, they are going to add daily and weekly contracts.
Because I own the season pass and I won 75 games, I was able to obtain two weapons. The mx Grand and the HG-40 from my bribe.  One of my friends was even luckier than I was and ended up gaining 2 weapons from the free rare supply drops. My complaint about this new weapon drop is that you can get a repeat or just a re-skin of the combat knife.  My friend, Brandon, spent the weekend grinding the game (Playing it non-stop) and he just got a crowbar which does nothing special.  Overall, I like how they gave everyone a free way to get a black market weapon. Other games like CS:GO allow players to be able to sell excusive/rare weapons for real life cash, but in this game, people are just wasting their money.   I hope that Treyarch will do more of this and reward people for playing their game instead of making people empty their wallets just to get an in game weapon.

Overwatch

I played the open beta for Overwatch when it came out. Overwatch is a game made by Blizzard and is a game a team based game with different characters (Similar to Team Fortress 2). I found to be a lot of fun. The many different characters made it a blast to play. Every time you level up, you get a loot crate to get taunts, skins, and sprays. The two game modes they had at the time were payload and point capture. Point capture - take or defend the objective from the other team depend on what team your on. Payload - Make sure the car does/doesn't go to the objective in the time limit depending on what team your on. Overwatch also has a lot of different maps. I plan on getting this game when it comes out.

The problem with DLC (Downloadable content)

I believe that DLC is a great way to add content after a games release. However, some of the DLCs that are released are bad. First, I will get into pre-order DLC. Pre-order DLC is where if you order the game before it comes out you get DLC for it. This DLC should already be in the game, and I shouldn't have to place a pre-order to get certain items. What makes me mad is how certain stores give certain DLC that other don't. Why should I have to buy from a certain store to get content that should already be in the Game?
Another type of DLC that really bugs me is the season pass. For those who don't know what a season pass is it is something you can buy to get the DLCs for a game for a lower price. Sounds like a good idea right? Well sometimes season passes are released months before a games release. So people are buying DLC when they haven't even played the main game.
The Last type of bad DLC is micro DLC. This is mostly seen in free to play games, but recently games on the consoles and pc have had micro DLC which really bugs me that you can spend a lot of money for in game currency. This makes people who don't want to buy micro DLC at a disadvantage compared to people who spend money on micro dlc. Micro DLC makes games unbalanced and is a waste of money.

Is Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Pay To Win?

The video game, Call of Duty, is a first person shooter full of action and excitement that constantly keeps you on the edge of your seat.  There are three different companies making COD (Call of Duty) games.  The newest COD, Black Ops 3, has supply drops that give you three things, a weapon cameo, new gear, a calling card,or a rare weapon. Once in a while, they add a new weapon like a baseball bat.
The Call of Duty community, has been debating if these new weapons are pay to win.  They aren't necessarily pay to win ,because if you grind the game, playing it a long time, you will be able to open supply drops and have a chance at receiving them.  If you don't want to play the game to earn them then, you can purchase them even though the whole purpose of a game is to play it. If you win the match, the game gives you more crypto-keys.
Their are two types of crates that you can open, rare drops and common drops.  Common drops are 10 crypto keys and rare drops are 30 keys.  Every match you earn 1-4 keys depending on how well you did.  The weapons that you have a chance of winning don't give you an advantage.  The melee weapons are just re-skins of the normal combat knife. The other weapons are a little bit better than the guns in the same class ,but they also have their down fall.  Like the assault rifle, mx grande, is a semi automatic rifle that is a two shot and you have eight bullets in the magazine.  One of its down falls is that you can't reload unless you shot all eight bullets. Also, it's not like you are instantly good with the weapon, it takes time to get used to. Over all, these new weapons that treyarch has added and future weapons aren't pay to win.
